In August 2022, pitcher Tyler Glasnow signed a two-year contract extension with the Thunder and will continue to play for the team until 2024.
As a result, the professional baseball player spent the off-season looking for a home in the area.
He recently found a four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath waterfront row house in a gated community.
Glasnow paid $2.35 million for his Tampa holiday home.
That's a real deal, considering the home originally came on the market in July 2022 for $3 million.
With stunning views, this nearly 4,000 square foot home will be an ideal place to rest after long days on the course.
Located in Harbour Island, an upscale neighbourhood just minutes from downtown Tampa, the home features chic marble floors on the main level and warm hardwood floors upstairs.
The open layout from the kitchen to the living room is very comfortable and the living room opens to the covered lanai, pool, spa and boat dock.
There is a bedroom and bathroom downstairs and an additional loft area that can be used as a reading corner, TV lounge or office.
The master bedroom has a fireplace and balcony, and the en-suite bathroom has a deep soaking tub.
Glasnow, 29, joined the Thunder in a mid-season trade in 2018.
The long, lean right-hander underwent Tommy John surgery in July 2021 and missed most of the 2022 season while he recovered from the procedure. He returned to the team in September and pitched in a couple of regular season games, including a nail-biting playoff game against the Cleveland Guardians.
Today, Glasnow is said to be back healthy and ready to rejoin the rotation in 2023.
